333 is a Berlin-based art collective founded by Lena Gätjens, Ivana Plavec and Branka Sarić.
Their work in the form of site-specific installations and objects explores manifestations of light in order to question complex relations between people and their surroundings.
Coming from engineering, architecture and stage design, and with specialization in lighting design, they are bringing together scenic space, narrative and scientific knowledge around subjects of light and human perception.
333’s first realized project Concert for 3756 Light Instruments was highly commended in the light art project of the year category at Lighting Design Awards 2018 in London. More importantly, it is there for users of the youth center in Munich to discover, get inspired, and share experiences of ever-changing daylight.
Along with their activities within 333, Ivana, Lena and Branka are individually, and as members of other teams, active as professional lighting designers.
